We’re working with the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation at the Administration for Children and Families (ACF OPRE) to analyze how employment processes in the low-wage labor market contribute to racial disparities in employment.

In a recently published literature review, we and our University of Chicago partners summarize research to date on different types of biases and how they show up in hiring processes and on the job, identify potentially promising interventions to address racial bias in employment processes, and suggest areas for future research. RESEA

Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessments (RESEA) Program: Building Evidence for Reemployment Services

Established by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), RESEA aims to help Unemployment Insurance (UI) claimants return to work more quickly and promote integration of services with the broader workforce system. We worked with DOL to develop a suite of technical assistance products to help RESEA grantees generate evidence of effectiveness. Check out the latest resources here >>
