Moving to Work: Incentivizing Landlords in the Housing Choice Voucher Program
Landlords play an important role in the Housing Choice Voucher, and HUD created the Moving to Work Landlord Incentives demonstration to test whether changing incentives might increase their program participation. HUD engaged Abt to conduct a mixed-methods evaluation including process, impact, and cost analyses of whether and what incentives work.
Grantee Outcomes from the American Apprenticeship Initiative
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) American Apprenticeship Initiative (AAI) aimed to expand registered apprenticeships to new sectors and underrepresented populations. Abt’s evaluation of AAI builds evidence about the effectiveness of apprenticeship for apprentices and employers. FINAL REPORT: Findings from the Cascades Job Corps College and Career Academy Pilot Evaluation
The DOL Cascades College and Career Academy Job Corps (CCCA) pilot demonstration provided at-risk youth, ages 16 to 21 with intensive academic instruction, technical training, and non-cognitive skills training in healthcare and information technology.
