Abt will coordinate CDC’s surveillance data on post-COVID-19 conditions (PCC). We’ll ensure standardized data collection across the sites and serve as a data repository. The project aims to increase the ability to provide complete, timely, and high-quality PCC surveillance data, improve monitoring of PCC trends, identify populations at risk for PCC, and more.
Building on our work from the past three years, Abt is working with the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), state and local child welfare jurisdictions, and community-based providers toevaluate the impactsof two programs and understand how to successfully implement them.
Homeownership can help families build wealth and secure residential stability. However, significant racial and ethnic disparities undermine the potential of homeownership to advance health equity. Abt identified concrete opportunities to close the racial homeownership gap in a landscape analysis and highlighted promising options in a policy brief series.
A six-yearstudyof the DOL American Apprenticeship Initiative (AAI) found that apprentices’ wages increased and employers experienced a positive return on investment. Moreover, two-thirds of the 29,553 apprentices registered as part of AAI were from underrepresented populations, including women and people of color. Learn more from the project’sreports and briefs.
